This is a most comprehensive database of no-carb foods: foods without carbohydrate of any kind (no sugar, no starch, no fiber, no glucose, no fructose, etc.).
Besides the foods' energy in Calories (kcal) and in kilojoules (kJ),
we provide the content of protein and total fat in these foods, as well as the percentages of calories that come from protein or fat. These data make it extremely easy
to identify high-protein or high-fat foods, for example.
The nutrients that contribute to the energy content of a food are: protein, fat, carb and alcohol. Because the carb calories of foods in this no-carb database are all 0, the percentages of calories from protein and fat should add up to 100, unless the foods contain alcohol, such as alcoholic beverages.
